Abstract
The author entering in the discussion with the American researcher A. Stent examines Russian-American relations of 1990-es - 2010-es. The main cause of conflict between the two powers he sees in fact that Washington accepts Moscow only as a client of it’s imperial leadership. Russia does not accept such role strongly holding to sovereign foreign policy. USA on their part don’t understand the obstinacy of the country defeated as they believe in the cold war.
