Abstract
Generalized conclusions and data on monitoring studies in the Republic of Uzbekistan related to the sphere of interethnic relations are presented. The problems of interethnic harmony as a factor of stability, the effectiveness of national policy and the factors of its implementation, and the civic well-being of the multinational population are analyzed. The article presents the population's assessments of the state and trends in the development of interethnic relations in Uzbekistan, their changes, conditions and factors for strengthening tolerance in Uzbek society.
