- Abstract
- The article is devoted to subjectivity in language, namely, words with an implied speaker. These words have an egocentric valence, that is, a valence, which in a canonical communicative situation is filled, in meaning - by the speaker, and in form - by zero. The main semantic roles that the speaker can perform in the interpretation of words are traced: the observer, the subject of consciousness, the subject of speech, the subject of deixis. General rules are formulated that make it possible to find the performer of the role of the implied speaker in non-canonical contexts (hypotaxic, narrative) and in the context of the question.
