Аннотация

Статья посвящена описанию трех глаголов положения в пространстве в атальяском языке, два из которых представляют собой малоизученный тип дейктиков — дейктические глаголы положения в пространстве. В статье дается анализ дейктической оппозиции этих глаголов и выявляется нетривиальное деление пространства на несколько зон, причем локализация объекта в одной из этих зон не может быть описана при помощи дейктических глаголов. В таких контекстах используется третий, нейтральный предикат. Как показывает полевой материал, использованный в статье, дейктические глаголы положения в пространстве сохраняют свои дейктические свойства в грамматикализованных употреблениях в составе конструкции прогрессива / результатива, что во многом определяет поведение этой конструкции. Пути грамматикализации нейтрального и дейктически окрашенных предикатов в атаяльском языке различны. Поэтому к ситуациям, имеющим место в той зоне пространства, где дейктические предикаты недопустимы, оказывается неприменима конструкция прогрессива.
