Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the rhythm of the Russian trochaic pentameter of the 20th century. There has been formed a corpus of trochaic pentameter of more than 353 000 lines. The distribution of frequencies of all rhythmic forms of a corpus of trochaic pentameter was obtained. It was shown that the stress profile of a corpus did not depend on the belonging of the strings to different clauses. It was revealed that compositions of trochaic pentameter belonged to 19 dif-ferent types of the stress profile. Distribution of different types of stress profiles for the corpuses of 120 authors was ob-tained.
