Abstract
The monography explores a more than half-century confrontation between the radical nationalists of one of the autonomous communities of Spain – the Basque Country – and the Spanish state as a whole. The authors examine the origin and the development of the Spanish ethnic conflict within historical and political context, going deeply into the history of the issue, as well as the analysis of the contemporary ethno-national situation in the democratically consolidated Spain.
