Abstract
The article presents a comparative study of the political and electoral landscape model of Japan and the United States. Currently, Japan's political system is undergoing a process of modernization. Comparing Japan with the United States, the authors conclude about the similarities in the development of the electoral landscape of both countries and the feasibility of borrowing American experience in Japan.
