Abstract
M. Bulgakov’s artistic world represents symbiosis of comic and tragic elements. The writer try to penetrate more profoundly into the structure of many conflicts revealing the contradiction of human characters and reality after revolution. The author of the study, dealing with the analysis of M. Bulgakov's «Master and Margaret» tries to specify the using the superlative in the text. Superlative is the form of adjective that is used to signify the greatest degree of a given descriptor. Bulgakov breaks the rules of expected way of expression. And this breaking of rules is seen in the works of Mikhail Bulgakov in all levels of language, and also in morphology. In the field of morphology the comical effect is created by discrepancy between the meaning and the form. Irony in a broad sense of the term is a tone, related to certain critical sarcastic relation with reality. This is why the ironical expression is determined also by the personality of the author. In his irony is seen the unique artistic way of the writer, his personality, original worldview, and his way of thinking. The irony as an aesthetic category in Bulgakov's artistic technique have become the original distinctive features of M. Bulgakov's artistic system. We can feel the intonation of the author in the willingness to the wordplay, that is decorating all texts of his works.
