Abstract
The subject of the article is grammatical assessments by critics of the first half of the 19th century of the language of Russian poets V.A. Zhukovsky, P.A. Vyazemsky, A.S. Pushkin. These comments reflected changes in the literary language, ideas about the linguistic tastes of the era, contradictions between norm and use.
