Abstract
The main values and value orientations of the rural population of Russia in the spheres of labor, financial status, family and health, changes in the hierarchical structure of values in the period from the late 1990s to the present are revealed. The conclusion is made about the stability of the value structure, about the orientation of villagers primarily on intangible values. At the same time, the features that can serve as reasons for changes and the return of traditional values are identified.
