- The research examines the methods and experience of assessing and improving the competitiveness of regions by identifying priority areas and tools for managing the innovative development of regions Latvia, analysis and justification of the conditions that determine such regional development. The research is based on the existing priority of the European Union to introduce innovations and develop socio-economic activities to increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of European regions.
