Abstract
Based on the data of an empirical study conducted in the Krasnodar region in 2007, and the materials of Rosstat, the features of labor behavior of the population of this region are considered. The article analyzes a range of problems related to contradictions in the formation of employment characteristics. We are talking about the socio-status parameters of labor behavior of the employed population, its age characteristics and educational structure. Processes of adaptation of various socio-professional and educational groups to market realities are also considered.
