Abstract
Discourse in science is the representation of scientific knowledge in the language peculiar to this science. It has a social nature. The analysis of sociology as a discourse presupposes its scientific-demonstrative and epistemological – research. There are discourses of a separate sociological school, a sociological concept. Discourses can be social and epistemological, “innovative” and “traditional”. Their features are linked in time, place, worldview, methodology, the identity of the author, etc. Discourse is the means, incentive and intention of a sociological communication.
