The paper refers to the problems of social and primarely moral values and norms both in the personal aspect and objective historicaly substantiated and socialy determined context. The author emphasizes the main methodological aspects moral development and social progress and outlines certain principles of interaction of sociology and ethics in investigation of moral relations and moral development of personality.
