Abstract

The paper consideres the role of studies about socio-economic formations in structure of Marxist-Leninist sociology, nature of category «iormation», its complex dialectical connection with reality is exposed; great methodical importance of this category at the all levels of social knowledge is emphasized. The author analyses the levels of development of socio-economical formation, pays special attention to conception of developed socialist society as legal stage towards Communism; also the author gives critical analyses of interpretation of concept «socio-economical formation» in present bourgeois sociology•
