Abstract
The brilliant works of Soviet psychophysiologist S.V. Kravkov in the field of the sense organs interaction and subthresholds of perception, studies of eye working and, especially, colour vision are well known. At the same time his early in-depth works considering general problems of psychology which are still up-to-date are forgotten. The question of Kravkov’s self-limitation with narrow research area and its possible reasons are discussed.
