- Abstract
- The article examines the linguistic behavior of Russian-speaking immigrants living in Norway in close proximity to the Russian-Norwegian border. As our research has shown, the speech of this group has specific features that distinguish it from a number of other studied examples of speech behavior of immigrants in a situation where another language dominates. The article analyzes the possible reasons for the formation of such a model of linguistic behavior, consisting in the peculiarities of the socio-cultural situation that has developed in the Russian-Norwegian borderland in the last two decades.
