- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the history of the formation and study of Russian youth jargon in the aspect of its terminology at different stages of language development. The chronology of the functioning of linguistic terms is revealed in the rich memoir-artistic, journalistic, historical and scientific material. The author traces the evolution of youth sociolect and the transformation of designations: from technical expression to technical language; from school jargon to youth jargon.
