- Abstract
- The placement was in the statement is considered from the standpoint of communicative analysis. The use of formal criteria (the actual division of the utterance into a theme and a bump, its accent and intonation design) confirms the enclitic nature of the particle, the placement of which depends on the speaker's communicative logic. The initial placement was associated with the focalization of one of the elements of the proposition X and its polemical nature: the speaker refutes the competitive proposition X 'which was implicitly existing in the pretext and was actualized and asserts X. corresponds to expressing a critical view of X. The choice of placement was dependent on the context and the speaker's illocutionary intention.
