- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the consideration of the concept of "internal form" in the context of modern semantic-cognitive theories of language. The conceptual basis of the article is the theoretical provisions of T.M. Nikolaeva about the "hidden memory" of the language and the postulates of the Moscow Semantic School, set forth in the works of Y.D. Apresyan. The article describes some mechanisms for the formation of the internal form of linguistic nominations in general and metaphorical nominations in particular, and also points out the difficulties of studying the internal form in ontology.
