- For History and Russian Antiquities, but did not end in either stagnation, or disappearance of Slavic problematic in panel-discussions, or on the pages of the Societys journal Vremennik. The Society preserved its contacts with scholars abroad and developed a new form of cooperation - institutionalised cooperation with learned societies.
