- Abstract
- The present article, based on a wide circle of sources, deals with the history of the Russian- Turkish War of 1806-1812 in the context of turbulent international relations of the early nineteenth century. The article emphasises the role of the commander-in chief of the Danube Army Mikhail Kutuzov in the triumphal ending of a complicated, for Russia, war with the Ottoman Empire and signing of the Peace of Bucharest in 1812.
