- Abstract
- The article analyzes the problem of internationalization of the Neman river and its role in the system of international relations in the Eastern Europe. The river, closed due to the Polish-Lithuanian confl ict, became a tool of diplomatic struggle between Moscow and Warsaw. A particular attention in the article is paid to the interests of great powers in the confl ict on the Neman.
